taringPrivacy Policy
This page describes what we collect when you use taring and how we keep that data protected. We collect your email address, password, KYC documents (government ID and proof of address), payment method details, and betting history. We use this data to operate our sportsbook, live-dealer tables, slots, and esports markets, to verify your identity, to process deposits and withdrawals, and to comply with local regulations.
Our privacy policy on taring is straightforward: we do not sell your data to marketers, we do not share your information with unrelated third parties, and we encrypt all sensitive data in transit and at rest. We retain your data only as long as necessary — typically for the duration of your account plus a legal retention period (usually 5–7 years for financial records). If you request account deletion, we remove your personal data except where we are legally required to retain it (e.g., for tax or anti-money-laundering compliance).
We also explain how our third-party payment processors (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet), identity-verification services, and analytics providers handle your data. Each processor has its own privacy terms; we summarise their role but recommend reviewing their policies directly if you wish to understand their full practices.
What Data We Collect on taring
We at taring collect several categories of data when you create an account and use our platform:
- Account information: Your email address, password (hashed and salted on our servers), full name, date of birth, phone number, and country of residence. This is collected during account registration.
- Identity documents: Government-issued ID (national ID card, passport, or driver's licence) and proof of address (utility bill, rental agreement, or bank statement). You upload these during KYC verification, and we store them encrypted.
- Payment information: Your payment method details (e.g., linked wallet IDs for DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment; virtual account numbers for e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment). We never store your full bank account number, card number, or wallet PIN — only a tokenised reference.
- Betting history: Every bet you place, every game you play, every deposit and withdrawal — the date, time, amount, outcome, and balance before and after. This is retained for audit and dispute resolution.
- Device and access data: Your IP address, device model, operating system (Android or iOS), app version, browser type, and login timestamps. This helps us detect unusual access patterns and prevent fraud.
- Cookies and analytics: We use cookies to remember your login session, language preference, and odds format. We also use analytics tools to understand how players interact with our platform — which games are popular, which payment methods are used most — but this data is aggregated and anonymised.
We do not ask for unnecessary information. We do not collect your full credit card details, your bank account passwords, or your mother's maiden name. If we request sensitive data, it is only for a specific regulatory or operational purpose, which we explain clearly.
How We Use Your Data on taring
We use your data for the following purposes:
- Account operation: We use your email and password to authenticate you when you log in. We use your full name and KYC documents to verify that the account belongs to you and that you are legally eligible to use our service in your jurisdiction.
- Payment processing: We share your tokenised payment reference with our payment processors (e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, and bank providers) only to execute your deposit or withdrawal. These processors never receive your account email or full personal details unless required by their own compliance rules.
- Regulatory compliance: We retain your KYC documents and transaction history to comply with anti-money-laundering (AML) and counter-financing-of-terrorism (CFT) regulations. These records may be requested by authorities in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, or other jurisdictions where we operate.
- Fraud prevention: We analyse your login patterns, betting behaviour, and payment method changes to detect and prevent account takeover, payment fraud, and bonus abuse.
- Customer support: We use your account data to respond to your inquiries — for example, if you contact us asking why a withdrawal was delayed, we pull your transaction history and account details to investigate.
- Analytics and improvement: We analyse aggregated, anonymised data to understand platform usage trends, identify technical issues, and prioritise feature development. This never involves individual player profiles.
We do not use your data for marketing purposes without explicit consent. We do not sell your email address, phone number, or betting preferences to third parties. If we send you promotional messages, it is only if you opted in during account setup or via a preference centre in your account settings.
Third-Party Data Processors on taring
We work with several third-party services to operate taring. Each processor has access to specific data only:
- Payment processors
- local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, and banks (e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment) receive only your tokenised payment reference and transaction amount. They never see your account email or KYC documents.
- Identity verification
- Our KYC provider receives your uploaded ID and address proof to verify authenticity. We use industry-standard verification services with data-processing agreements in place.
- Analytics tools
- We use analytics platforms to track anonymised gameplay trends and platform performance. These services do not receive your name, email, or KYC documents.
- Email and SMS providers
- We contract with email and SMS providers to send you login confirmations and transaction receipts. They store your email and phone number only to deliver messages; they do not use this data for marketing.
All third-party processors are contractually obligated to keep your data confidential and use it only for the purposes we specify. If a processor is acquired or changes its practices, we will notify you and give you the option to delete your account if you no longer consent to their involvement.
Data Security on taring
We encrypt all data in transit using TLS 1.3 (the same standard used by banks). Your password is hashed on our backend using bcrypt, a slow hashing algorithm that makes brute-force attacks prohibitively expensive. Your KYC documents and payment references are encrypted at rest using AES-256.
Our servers are hosted in geographically redundant data centres; this means your data may be stored outside your jurisdiction (e.g., on servers in Singapore, Australia, or other countries where we operate). We maintain backup copies encrypted with separate keys, isolated from the live system. If our live database is compromised, encrypted backups cannot be instantly decrypted.
We do not share your password with anyone, including our support staff. If you forget your password, we send you a time-limited reset link; you then set a new password directly. We never ask you for your password via email or support chat. If you receive such a request, it is fraudulent — contact us immediately.
Your Rights on taring
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. To exercise these rights:
- Access your data: Log in to your taring account and review your profile, KYC status, and transaction history. You can request a full export of your personal data by contacting our support team; we will provide it in a portable format within 30 days.
- Correct inaccurate data: If your name, address, or other account details are wrong, contact us with documentation (e.g., an updated ID or address proof). We will correct your account within 5 business days.
- Delete your account: You can request account deletion by contacting our support team. We will delete your personal data immediately, except where we are legally required to retain it (e.g., transaction records for tax or AML compliance, typically 5–7 years). You will not be able to log in after deletion, but your historical account data may remain encrypted in backups for security purposes.
If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data-protection laws (e.g., GDPR in Europe, though taring's primary service area is Indonesia), we comply with those laws. Contact our data-protection team for jurisdiction-specific requests.
Cookies and Tracking on taring
We use cookies (small files stored on your device) to remember your login session, language preference, and settings. These are essential for the platform to function. We also use optional analytics cookies to understand how you navigate taring — which games you view, which payment methods you use — but you can disable these in your browser or account settings without affecting core functionality.
We do not use cookies to track you across other websites. Once you log out of taring, our cookies are inactive. We do not partner with third-party advertisers to serve you targeted ads on other sites.
Policy Updates and Contact
We may update this privacy policy as our platform evolves or as regulations change. If we make material changes — for example, if we begin sharing data with a new third party — we will notify you via email and ask for your explicit consent. You can always view the current policy on this page; we maintain a version history so you can see what has changed.
If you have questions about our privacy practices, how we handle your KYC documents, or how your betting history is used, contact our support team via in-app chat, email, or phone. Our support team operates in English and Indonesian. We will respond to privacy inquiries within 10 business days.
Our services are available only where local law permits. Users are responsible for verifying that their access and use of taring comply with their own jurisdiction's privacy and data-protection laws. We do not knowingly collect data from users in jurisdictions where taring is prohibited. If you access taring from a restricted jurisdiction, your account may be frozen pending verification of your location and eligibility.
